Metal plates shielding magnetic field experiments

For the development of the Munting generator it was important to measure the effect of the metal plates on the magnetic field. Thickness, shape, area, distance to the magnet and to the iron core.
I used a lineair hall-sensor to measure the strength of the magnetic field. The metal bolts were tightly touching the Hall-sensor in the middle. It was connected to an Arduino.

The magnets and the Hall-sensor were mounted on aluminium rod. All could be moved on the rod.
And I used many different shapes and sizes of metal plates cut from transformer silicon steel.
