The most helpful and simple invention.
And more than 40 years ago! I was just in need of a simple and quick/cheap way to make some of my experiments turn easily and reliable. By then it did not came to my mind that it was an invention. But it has helped me very much over the 40 years to make all kinds of machines etc.
I want to share this idea/invention with all my DIY fanatics.
